ABOUT THE ARTIST PROGRAM

F/W 2026

APPLICATION DEADLINE: August 24, 2026

Fashion Art Toronto invites visual, installation, and interdisciplinary artists to present work during the main Fashion Week event days at our primary Fashion Week venue.

Artist presentations are integrated into the core public programming of the festival, positioned within high-traffic areas to encourage meaningful audience engagement.

This platform supports cross-disciplinary artistic practices that explore fashion, identity, culture, and contemporary social narratives.

Selected artists gain exposure toattendees, including members of the public, media, curators, and cultural workers, while contributing to a broader, inclusive cultural experience that reflects Fashion Art Toronto’s commitment to artistic innovation and accessibility.

SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS

F/W 2026

2D Works (Photography, Drawing, Painting, Digital Media, Film, Video)

  • Submit a cohesive series of at least three pieces (except film/video, you can submit only one)

  • Ideally part of a larger body of work with a consistent theme and visual story

3D Works (Installation, Immersive Experiences)

  • Proposals may range from 5’ x 5’ to 20’ x 20’

  • Include visuals, sketches, and examples of past work demonstrating your ability to execute the project

Other Requirements:

  • All materials for display—including mannequins, props, and installation hardware—must be provided by the artist

  • Work must be exhibition-ready upon arrival

  • Artists must coordinate their own transport, set-up, and takedown of work
