About the Collection
This collection moves from rebellious streetwear into modern heritage and finally into conceptual avant-garde. Drawing on Y2K energy, Chinese cultural symbols, and sculptural styling, it bridges gritty urban attitude with a playful, contemporary interpretation of “New Chinese” fashion.
The result is theatrical, referential, and charged with personality.
About the Designer
Founded in 2015, LAOGUI reimagines elements of Chinese culture through a lens that feels light, irreverent, and alive. Traditional games, food, and symbols become part of everyday design language rather than distant heritage.
The brand’s point of view is clear: culture can be modern, wearable, and full of joy without losing meaning.
