OFFSITE EXPERIENCE
What “offsite” means
Offsite events are Fashion Art Toronto experiences hosted outside our main venue. Each one is its own destination, with its own setting, tone, and format.
Some are intimate. Some are public-facing. Some feel more like a takeover, installation, or fashion moment than a standard show. That’s part of the point.
Why we do it this way
Toronto is complex and each neighbourhood offers a unique experience.
By staging events across the city, we invite fashion to meet Toronto where it actually lives: in cultural districts like Distillery, unexpected spaces like a mall basement in Scarborough, architectural landmarks, and public environments.
Discovering the city is part of the experience.
What guests should know about offsite events
Offsite events are best approached as standalone experiences. That means:
each venue may have its own flow and atmosphere
event timing, entry details, and seating or standing formats may vary
checking the schedule and your ticket details in advance will make the experience smoother,
ONSITE EXPERIENCE
What to expect at the main venue
Our on-site experience at T3 Bayside is designed to feel more expansive and immersive than a single-event visit.
Rather than arriving only for one moment and leaving right after, guests can spend time moving through the wider world of the festival:
runway programming
installations & exhibition in Fashion Playground
Fashion Boutique retail featuring Canadian designers & artists
40ft red carpet
live music
and plenty room to mingle in general and VIP areas
This is the venue for guests who want the fuller Fashion Art Toronto experience.
The feeling
Expect a space that is active, creative, and socially alive. You may arrive for a show and end up discovering much more around it.
Onsite is where the Toronto creatives open up:
fashion as spectacle, fashion as gathering, fashion as exploration.
How to approach it
The best way to enjoy the on-site experience is to give yourself a little time. Arrive early enough to check in, get oriented, and settle into the atmosphere.
Wear something that makes you feel like yourself, and stay open to meeting new people.
There’s more to discover than just the runway.
