About the Event

Temporality: A Love Letter to Gaia is a multidisciplinary program by Re:Stance Collective exploring sustainable fashion and textile futures through exhibition, film, performance, and public dialogue. Centered on circular design practices and material storytelling, the program invites audiences into an afternoon of thought-provoking panels, hands-on workshops, and curated film screenings.

About the Collective

Re:Stance is a multidisciplinary public program presented in collaboration with the Textile Museum of Canada, unfolding as part of Fashion Art Toronto’s wider cultural programming. Through panels, film screenings, workshops, and community activations, Re:Stance explores the relationships between textiles, fashion, memory, sustainability, ancestry, and future-making. The program brings together artists, designers, thinkers, and audiences in a shared space for conversation, learning, and creative exchange, positioning textiles not just as material, but as a living carrier of culture, resistance, and transformation.
