About the Collection
Culture Through Time honours the ongoing evolution of Indigenous fashion, from pre-contact adornment and natural materials to beadwork, ribbon, silverwork, and contemporary runway expression.
The collection celebrates continuity rather than rupture: tradition carried forward, adapted, and made newly visible.
About the Designer
Stacey Mitchell is an Indigenous artist and designer whose work bridges cultural tradition and contemporary fashion. Beginning with traditional regalia and expanding into modern clothing, her practice reflects a deep respect for material, symbolism, and inherited knowledge.
Through contemporary silhouettes infused with Indigenous art forms, she contributes to a living and evolving fashion language rooted in identity and story.
